It’s also one of the best ways to help you deal with (or possibly even overcome) your fear of heights.
This is activity is right up there on the most adventurous things to do in Cape Town. The adventure starts with a bumpy 4×4 ride up the mountain and ends with a 5km hike out of the mountain! The West Coast National Park is renowned for its beautiful colours during the annual West Coast flower season. But did you know the park is not just perfect for day visits but also for a getaway in one of their Kraalbaai houseboats. Experience a Proudly South African Rooibos Farm Tour and Tea Tasting
Rooibos tea is exclusive to the Cederberg region in the Western Cape. Due to the warm, dry climate it is the only place in the world the plant grows. Carmien Tea situated on the Bergendal farm just outside the town of Citrusdal offers a unique farm tour and tastings of the various flavoured teas produced on the farm. It’s a proudly South African experience that takes you through the various production stages of Rooibos tea, explaining exactly how it lands up in our cups.
