If you want to rough it but not really, there’s the luxury tented suites of Botlierskop Game Reserve in the Garden Route. These suites come complete with a four-poster bed, a oval bath perfect for bubble baths (but which is obviously currently not possible with the severe Cape Town drought) and a totally private outdoor shower. The private wooden deck leading to your tent ensures no lack of mountain and river views. The reserve also has an onsite spa and restaurant with one of the most breathtaking views you’ll ever see.

It’s Not Valentine’s Day if there’s no Couples Massages included!

What would Valentine’s Day be without massages? Couples massages are a great way to de-stress together and get rid of some tension before having a romantic meal. That’s exactly what we indulged in at the One & Only Spa in the V & A Waterfront for our one year wedding anniversary celebration. In their couples room; start off with a glass of bubbly in the jacuzzi, thereafter enjoy your treatments and end off the day with a three course dinner at Reuben’s restaurant. The perfect Valentine’s Day.

  1. I love all these ideas!! I think my fave would be the tree house option because it’s so out of the ordinary but also a bit elevated so things that crawl won’t get to us!!! LOL!!

IT ALSO LOOKS SO GORG AND PEACEFUL!

    xx
