If you haven’t heard of the tiny homes movement by now then get comfortable because I’m about to fill you in.  The quick definition of a tiny home is a small house that usually has a floor plan of less than 500 square feet.  Why on earth would someone willingly want to live in a tiny house you ask? Well, the idea behind the tiny home movement was minimalistic luxury living at an affordable price.  Bougee on a budget if you will, and Klein Paradys Tiny Homes at Old Mac Daddy Elgin have nailed it.

The Klein Paradys Tiny Homes project was featured on DSTV’s KykNet channel where six teams competed for the coveted title of best tiny home and a cash prize of 1 million rand. The teams had just four weeks to complete the challenge and transform a tiny empty shell into a deluxe micro house. If you haven’t watched the show, I’m sure the burning question is; who won?!

Well I’m not giving that away but I will tell you what you can expect from Klein Paradys Tiny Homes at Old Mac Daddy Elgin!

What’s Inside the Klein Paradys Tiny Homes?

Firstly (and dare I say most importantly), each Klein Paradys Tiny Home is equipped with a private hot tub.  Every single one of the tiny homes have their own unique design, which is true to Old Mac Daddy style if you’re acquainted with their airstream trailer accommodation. All of the tiny homes are also fitted with Smeg kitchen appliances. The big windows and glass sliding doors make the tiny homes appear larger than they actually are and makes for both a perfect summer and winter getaway. I don’t know about you but I can’t think of anything better than watching the rain from inside a cosy little cabin.

Klein Paradys also has an inviting communal area that features a sparkling swimming pool, volleyball court and a good ol’ South African braai area making the tiny homes perfect for a group getaway too!
